Hey everyone,

hope you had a great week :)

So, after 1 week getting feedback here:

https://www.patreon.com/posts/ar-interesting-20814459?cid=14747463

I can say there is not a massive demand for AR so I will make a very simple version only at some point, but I don´t have a schedule for that. But I will definitely keep a close eye on the technology ;)

About Episode 2:

  • I will finish the animations beginning of September
  • Then I will get additional voice overs (moaning and so on)
  • While the renders finish I am creating the final edit with the new voice overs
  • There will be a Trailer  of course ;)
  • Release date is the 13th of October (Saturday). I got a Saturday slot from Affect3D and I am very happy about it!

After finishing Episode 2 I want to focus on the game so we can hopefully have an initial release for Christmas :) But of course I will give you a demo (or several with updates according to your feedback) before that.

That´s it for now! I am going back to finishing the Animations for EP2!

Have a great weekend,

PM

PS: And because I can´t ship an update without at least 1 still, in the header you have a nice boob-job closeup ;)

I played around with Trinus, VRidge, Riftcat, Moonlight, Gamestream, SteamVR and DeoVR in different combinations to use the 4K+ (h.264/AVC or h.265/HEVC) decoding power of my laptop teamed with the 1440p display of my phone. It works *really* well for VR, much higher performance video decoding than my phone.

Anyway, while I was messing about with different combinations of the above, I noticed there were options to enable motion tracking devices to allow "room-scale" XYZ viewer tracking. This might be something you could try for the viewer positioning you love in AR, as an optional feature to use in VR, i.e. regular 3-axis head rotation viewing for people with just headsets, and that plus walking/crouching for people who also have IR/camera tracking devices as well.

that’s the best, you’re the best, I’m in love
