Work is ongoing with the multiplayer, inanimate-based Escape from Mu Tau Phi game. Here is a small preview of the first of the Defender/Pursuer's abilities which is to deploy a trap that lowers the willpower of intruders who cross it, transforming them when their resistance is reduced to zero.

I've also been working on some basic AI logic for the optional bots to have the bot intruders go from room to room to search for the magic pages they need to collect to win. Meanwhile, pursuers, seek out the intruders and follow them, deploying traps as they move about.

The next pursuer ability will be to fire a magic spell projectile, as well as some other abilities to help them locate the intruders, ie deploying "seeker" spells to pathfind to the nearest intruder or a breadcrumb trail that each intruder leaves behind. All spells have limited duration and require a recharge time as seen in this gif.

I'm also planning on giving the intruders some spells of their own to help level the odds including short-term invincibility, short range teleportations, and more.

Intruder directional walk cycle is also new. Art is by Iridius.
