It's been a bit since my last post here, so I wanted to share a gif of something I've been poking at part time for the past few weeks.

As I've mentioned before, the games I have been making since Exile have been smaller projects designed to grow my skills. Whereas Transformation Tycoon was a game heavily focused on UI, and Bimbocalypse: Rise of the Bimbies was me focused on learning Unity in general and its tilemap system, this project is meant for me to learn something new. I am trying to learn how to make real-time multiplayer games which is a first for me, and there is a lot to learn both in general theory and the framework used to implement it (in my case, the MIrror framework.)

For the time being I have this project known as "Sorority Escape". The general idea is that your character is trying to collect evidence / magic pages from a sorority of witches without being caught and turned into a new pledge, or more likely something inanimate, ie a purse, hair brush, minkskirt, leggings, etc. The idea is be a sort of top-down Slender kind of game where the pursuers are the witch inhabitants trying to find the intruders and transform them by leaving various traps or shooting at them with transformation spells.

The inspiration is from an old game from the artist Pip of Sins Venials called Escape from Gamma Rho Lambda with a similar theme. I don't know if they have it available to download anymore, however.

My goal is to make Sorority Escape playable by adding the game onto the Steam client as a non-steam game and using their friend invite system for additional players to join a game as either intruders or pursuers. Bots will also be available for a singleplayer experience, or mixed humans and bots.

The hairbrush, lipstick, and shampoo bottle inanimate transformations shown above are something I commissioned last year from the artist Mona Lithix. You can find more of her work at her Furaffinity here: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/mnlthx/ .

Transformation Tycoon is still being developed as well. I am working on adding an event system in, randomly-presented scenarios with one or more choices that affect various aspects of the clinic's fame, infamy, finances, employee morale, and more.

Also as a heads up, I will be on vacation from July 30th to August 16, so I won't be active here or on the Blue Fairy Media discord server as much until our return.
