Go download the game on Itch.io for free at:

https://bluefairymediagames.itch.io/the-restoration-of-aphrodisia

For patrons at the $5 tier (or those previously backing at the $3 tier or higher), there is a separate project specifically for the patron-backer cheat/debug builds:

https://bluefairymediagames.itch.io/patreon-the-restoration-of-aphrodisia/patreon-access

In theory if you have an Itch.io account integrated to your Patreon, you should be able to access the project and download the game for free. This workflow is a bit experimental at this time, so please let us know if you have any issues accessing it.

I have really enjoyed playing this. I only have one minor complaint so far: In the mermaid rescue mission, after you rescue the mermaids, you need to escape. And there is a combat scene on the docks. Where your 10 or so rescued mermaids start on the dock, looking at two small ramps on the water that lead to the boat. I imagined a scene where they are guarding the ramp, and instead of charging up it, all my mermaids jump into the water, and then jump into their boat, ignoring the ramps. WHY CAN'T MERMAIDS ENTER WATER DURING COMBAT?!!! It was such an amazing set up for a proper introduction to using creature-specific tactics.

Having different characters have different mobility on terrains is something I definitely want to look into, like having mermaids be able to traverse water or slimes over slime. It requires some changes to the map parsing and battle pathfinding algorithm, and could lead to a scenario where a mermaid just sits out of range of a melee enemy and sea squirts them to death in total safety, so that possibility will have to be addressed as well.

will this version come too steam too or is it not planned ?

I'll probably be limiting Steam deploys to the major updates and not these smaller bugfixes. Many times more players will be using the Itch.io downloads. The Itch desktop client can operate the same way Steam does and download updates automatically though I have no personal experience with it myself.
