This is one of my favorite John Candy movies, he really was a comedic genius! I feel like almost everyone has an Uncle like him. It's still so heartbreaking he's gone and even though it's been 30 years since his passing it still feels like it was yesterday! So, this was Macaulay Culkin's first film and the seen with him at the door with Shanice is what gave John Hughes the idea for Home Alone and personally requested him for the role. Of course Chris Columbus still auditioned other kids but he was always going to be the one to get the part. Now, I'm assuming you have seen Home Alone but if you haven't please watch it for Christmas time!
