Wow wow wow! I thought it was Wednesday and I was like whaaaaat! Wow. Tomorrow is Friday and then the weekend! Wow!

Nana-Afia

Owen screaming at Cristina in front of all their colleagues and friends..... f that man!! I feel like she's such a lover girl behind her exterior, so it's so frustrating to see her be hurt by these men she's with. I think a short temporary suspension from teddy's service (like a week) would have sufficed. Owen was trying to do too much because of his personal feelings

Edwina Annor

the infamous “you killed our baby” line 😬…

Krisa Barker

Yay I get a Grey's Anatomy Episode on my birthday 🥳🤗

Riley Stone

I'm also on the hate Owen train. He's an ass.

William

That ending is iconic as it gets, I will not make more comments but my god owen and cristina a pure mess.

Domo

Am i crazy or is Owen not the bad person here ? If im not mistaken ALTMAN told him to put Henry in Cristina O.R fully knowing what could happen given how bad his condition was & owen was against it even suggesting other surgeons do it. & everybody knows not to give a surgeon bad news while they’re operating. So im kind of confused why he getting hate ?

nalyah

hunt infuriates me bc why didnt he just stay with Beth?? he ghosted her bc she wanted kids but hates Cristina because she wont give him any???

Anonymous

Everyone at this point hated Owen , we all hate Owen 😅

nalyah

I agree with you that I dont understand why he's on the hook for the Henry thing, but him taking out his frustration on Cristina is why I don't mind everyone hating on him for it lol .

Domo

That part I understand I think they should have just broke up when they knew they wanted different things

Rebeca

Am I the only one who hates Christina?? 😂 the more I rewatch this show the more I dislike her! She’s only lookouts for herself, never wrong, never willing to compromise 🤷🏻‍♀️

mark

That Owen and Cristina fight is definitely in the top 5 most brutal

mark

She does compromise sometimes but she doesn’t have to have a baby just cuz Owen wants one. It’s her choice

mark

Yep this was the final straw until you know what

Bmachy Rue

I totally agree he isn’t the bad person here. Having Cristina and Teddy go into another major surgery when they are that sleep deprived is a major liability. I would have been on his side had he not brought up the abortion and how Cristina ruined the vision he had for his life when she was very upfront about not wanting kids.

Domo

I agree he could’ve handled that better & definitely at a better place

Leona Tries

I understand sometimes she is a lot. Regarding the whole baby situation, she definitely told him her thoughts on mothering a child. He believed that she would change her mind/ change for him. I understand compromising in a relationship, but I also understand Christina not wanting to lose pieces of herself again to please him. The last man didn’t love her, he love the person she was changing herself in order to please him! 🙂I truly believe Christina could be a great mother, but she gives me mothering like Ellis Grey. Not the affair, but the work focus and neglect of being the mother that child would need. I don’t understand being with someone when you guys can’t agree on something that shapes their married life. 🥲 They definitely shouldn’t be together, but this is Television. ⚠️⚠️She literally married him due to a being traumatized from the shooting and didn’t want to be alone. Sorry for the long rant!!😅I think I’ve watched Grey’s to many times to hate Christina! Yet Owen…🤨

Rebeca

Yes, baby or no baby they’re obviously so wrong for each other. They have different views and goals and hopes and dreams. Incredible how we can get so invested in fictional characters! 😂

Bethany Snow

I hate Owen too what annoys me most is obviously he hurt and embarrassed Christina but to do it at Zola’s birthday party her first one with her new family

Helen Moore

Owen and Cristina should have never gotten married. Their whole relationship is built off of responses to traumatic events and thinking that doing the "normal" couple stuff will fix it. They should have stopped their relationship long ago.

Kammy

Liver lady was from My Big Fat Greek Wedding

Shanice British

Owen is a damn mess but so is everyone in this damn show we just choose who to hate because ppl got favorites 😂 I’ll never get on the Owen hate train. They never should’ve gotten married especially without talking about wanting kids. That I’ll agree with. In that case they’re both wrong cause that conversation is way too damn important not to have pre-wedding 😩 Mark is so damn hot. He was my main focus this episode 🤣🤣 Sorry Yang & Owen

Toya8b

This is a Loretta Devine stan comment.

Michaela Evans

The sister who was being annoying, she was on Make It or Break It. She played one of the moms. That show only has 3 seasons and I really hope you'll react to it one of these days. Such a great show.

Helen Moore

The annoying lady whos sister needed the liver is Roz on Frasier

Charissa Kay

You tell him! I started watching the show again when Owen showed up, but this was the moment I was completely over it. And an aside: It might be hard to believe, but my family is like that sister. I was adopted, so I'm just supposed to be grateful for literally anything, always. I was a poor, abandoned, melanated child, so their mere attention I should be grateful for. It feels like complete shit, but therapy and extremely minimal to no contact helps 😅🙄.

m

OWEN IS A RATT!!!

Marie Almeida

I freaking love you. I feel like we’re besties. Fck Owen

Taylor Eason

Look I maybe be on the wrong side of things here but I don’t hate Owen…I don’t agree with a lot of stuff BUT I feel like in the case of Teddys husband yes it was his call but if Richard was chief or Derek was they would’ve made the same call..she’s mad at him for not telling her but they have done this before. It is policy not to tell them during surgery especially if there’s nobody else to take over. Now he definitely did go too far with Christina at the end scene but I do feel like he gets a bad wrap when the other chiefs would’ve made the same call.

Travis Manning

I don’t necessarily agree that the other two would have had Christina do it without telling her who it is though…

Taylor Eason

That part yes. I’m sorry I should have clarified I meant with the whole not telling Teddy thing.

Peaches

Preach I’m not a huge Owen fan but I’m in the same boat as you…in this situation there is no reason to give him hate…this comment section is buggin…they could’ve been fired.

Kade

I think the only push back I have about Owen following protocol to not tell Teddy (which I do agree with) while she's operating is that he gave her false hope and made Christina do it, too. Having that rug yanked out from under her after being led to believe he had survived and they were just waiting on post-op tests would have been traumatic. So while I agree they did the right thing by not telling her he died while she was operating, I disagree that the protocol should be to outright lie. Protocol should have been that she received no updates until she finished her own surgery, tbh. That and that Christina should have never been sent in to assist Teddy.

JennaB

I do not like Owen. That said, that's a little simplistic regarding why he left Beth. His time in the service changed him and he couldn't see himself being a stable family man which Beth wanted/needed at the time. What I wish more people would bring up is the fact that he was apparently engaged to Beth when he first showed up at the hospital during the icicle episode and he kissed Christina.

Lauren

I don't hate Owen. Everyone on this show has their good and bad qualities, his bad ones just happen to be easiest to point out. What he said to Cristina though, big no. Horrible for him to say, hate it all. But on some level, I do feel bad for him. They never should have gotten married. I agree that the call to not tell Teddy was the right move. I think where Owen went wrong is that he kept going back in and talking to her. And sending Cristina in. Though Teddy was the one who was so insistent about that, so I don't know. I think they should have told Cristina about working on Henry too, though I put a little blame on Teddy on that one too. (And I love Teddy!) She spent almost a whole season complaining how Cristina needed to learn not be arrogant and a robot. It was so imporant for her to teach Cristina this that she made her life terrible for months. Then five seconds after she told Cristina she had become a better doctor, she's barking at Owen that Cristina is robot who wouldn't care who she was working on or that she can just splash some water on her face to get into a surgery. I don't know, it's like she was talking bad about her behind her back. That's always kind of bothered me. Again, absolutely love Teddy, but she has her bad moments too. Owen should have told her anyway, but then there would be no drama for us to enjoy 😂🥰

TinTeume 빅뱅사랑해

Christina not wanting to have children and having to explain it to people -- especially to Owen, like how many times does she need to tell him that she does not want to have children. If he really loves her, why can't he get it. So sad that he had to say those words to Christina...

April Dawn

I honestly don't really know how I feel about Owen sometimes and I DO NOT agree with how he did Christina in front of everyone at Zola's party, but I believe he has a right to feel the way he feels about not being able to have a baby. They are married and she made the decision for the both of them without even speaking to him and considering how he'd feel. In my opinion it should have been the both of them making the decision. I don't know, I just think it is definitely something they should have thought about discussing before entering marriage though and he should have asked her if she wanted kids later and then made his decision on if he wanted to still marry her or not, BUT it was definitely something that he should have never thrown in her face and especially in front of a bunch of people, I totally agree with that. I just think that men should be respected more when it comes to this subject. They call men dead beats when they don't take responsibility for their children, but when they want a child and the woman decides to have an abortion, they don't even have a say whether their child lives or dies. I know I'll probably get a lot of hate on this, but I see both sides.

mari johnston

I understand owen’s frustration, but I also see Christina’s frustration. I get she’s upset about the fact that they didn’t tell her that she was operating on Teddy’s husband, and yes it may partially be Owen’s responsibility, but if I remember correctly didn’t Teddy ask for Christina to do it and to not tell her it was him? Idk but I am on board that this wasn’t the best place/timing to have this type of conversation. That’s just my opinion

Lexa Hoppenfeld

Especially when Cristina made it clear she didn't want kids long before they got married.

Letitia Hunt

Welcome to team Owen can go fuck himself!

Letitia Hunt

She definitely made it clear well before they got married that she wasn’t going to want kids.

Letitia Hunt

I mean they did talk about it and Christina was clear about not wanting them. Owen just made a bad decision

Quinn Stilwell

OOOO I was waiting for those last 5 minutes!!! Especially after you said you’ve been on the fence about him so far. That line was just truly irredeemable, he can never take that back. I love Christina so much 🫶🏻😭 she deserves someone who (at minimum) understands and respects her

April Dawn

If that's the case, I don't remember them discussing it. I still think they should have sat down and discussed what each wanted from the relationship. Date for a while, talk and learn more about each other, rather than just jumping into bed and then marrying them not long after that.... I love Christina and I like Owen, but they both are messy in their own ways.

April Dawn

I agree! Something else though, I think since Owen is the "cheif" now, then he should have stood his ground and said NO about Christina doing the surgery on Henry. He's friends with Teddy and so, sometimes Teddy can overpower him and if it was Derek, or Webber she wouldn't have gotten away with it and Christina would have never been put in that situation in the first place. The same happened when Teddy and Christina took that surgery from Karev when Owen told them to go get some rest... they got away with it because Christina is his wife and she wears the pants in the family and Teddy is his friend, so she felt she could do whatever she wants and get away with it.

Kadence Collins

Welcome to the Owen hate train

Alicia Cue

yeah she asked but he’s literally the chief like he did have the final say

Alicia Cue

yeah they’d talked about it before, christina had always been pretty upfront that shoe neverrr wanted to be a mother. owen married her thinking she’d change her mind

Nettie

I don’t always hate Owen but that argument and what he said was absolutely out of line and horrible! I’m here crying while Richard is singing to Adele and then I hear Travis “That’s why Richard didn’t sing much in the musical episode “ 😂😂. (As a parent who had to have the awful conversation with their child that they have cancer it’s beyond hard , but we did it and she was only six). She had to know what she was fighting!!

Charissa Kay

Yeah I definitely don't "hate" Owen, I'm just over their relationship and his character is way less compelling as this misogynistic mess. I still think he's an important representation overall, I just hate that for Christina, but it was a good way to represent the tragedy that childfree by choice women face against gender culture and men who don't extend women's bodily autonomy to childbearing.

Shanice British

Same way Meredith is flawed so is Christina. She’s got a bad picker and I truly believe that a relationship isn’t for her and that’s fine. I think Christina just needs a f##k Buddy because wanting to get married twice for all the wrong reasons says a lot about our girl. Owen & Christina shouldn’t have gotten married. If anything Owen should’ve went to teddy when he found out that she had feelings for him but trauma bonding is a real thing and this is the result of that 😩

Charissa Kay

It's quite unfathomable to myself so that's why I'm like I get it if it seems impossible for people to actually be like that. I think that everyday, like wtf how can you be THIS insensitive and uncaring like as a personality, but that's reality for some. Absolutely baffles, even with all the neuropsychological explanations.

Sarah S

A little late but I just wanna say this, he's the one who proposed to her when she was in a vulnerable state and it was a quick wedding so really ... no time to actually talk. She did mention that she would never be a mother and he, on his own, assumed that it was because she was young and might want one later in life...he chose that. They also had a fight after their wedding and before the pregnancy about her telling him she would never want a baby. Again...he chose to ignore that and chose for her that she will want one later. Christina always been clear about this.

Yes, Teddy asked for it to be Christina and for Owen and Richard not to tell her, but between Owen and Teddy, who put her in this postition, the only one to apologise for it has been Teddy. Owen has argued, justified and excused it. but never once apologised...
