I had seen the first three series but watched this one with everyone here and I thought they did a pretty good job in this last episode, some of it felt rushed, some of it seemed it shouldn’t have been introduced so late in the series knowing it would end quickly. Thank you Kate for sponsoring the season and thank you Travis. Loved all the music, need a Sex Education playlist.

Yeah, this season is definitely the weakest for me, too. I like the first two seasons the best as I truly believe it was a great show during that time. S3 was pretty good, and s4 was ok for me. I just didn't like how they introduced so many new characters in the final season. You can tell they overextended themselves with that decision. Honestly, I would've rather they came up with a bs reason for the old school to somehow come back with a slightly reduced cast from season 3 as I thought that even s3 was a little too busy with the storylines and new characters, perhaps with Ms. Sands as the new headmistress. Having said all this, s4 did have a lot of strong spots as well. If you told me in seasons 1 and 2 that Adam and Michael would become two of my favorite characters (and that they would start to mend fences and start an actual father-son relationship) I would've said that you were lying 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 Also, Mr. Hendricks' performance of "With or Without You" at the funeral 😭😭😭 I do think that this finale episode is one of the stronger episodes of s4, but it still feels like half a finale to me. I had a strong feeling that Otis and Maeve wouldn't end up together and that she would go back to America when s4 first came out and I'm ok with that. Honestly, never thought they were right for each other anyway. Who knows, though, maybe they'll find each other in the future. I know that Otis definitely needs to find himself before he can even think about having a serious relationship. And Maeve needs to believe in herself, which she is finally starting to at the end here. Also, Aimes is the best lol
