Been waiting for more Buffy! Hope you keep watching it! As you said, it wasn't as light as other episodes. I guess it's because it was more focused on Angel than on Buffy and the gang. I think that episodes like this one -or for example, those that focus more on Giles tend to be more serious because of the age difference between the high schoolers and them. The problems they face are different and I think they tried to emphasize that.
