Linderman healed Nathan Patrelli's wife right before she got outta her wheelchair lol. You seemed confused about that. Also DL didn't really punch Linderman in the back of the head. He phased his hand through his skull, then basically undid his power so that his first was literally inside Linderman's skull. It was pretty gruesome.

I believe there was a scene that showed Linderman bring a flower back to life. The scene didn't really do a good job explaining. But yeah he has the power to heal others, but its not passive like Claire's so he cannot heal himself to heal from what DL did as he has to activate it. manually. So his 'gift' was healing her legs.
