I'm SO glad you enjoyed this episode, it's my personal favourite of the season. It's really sweet and so funny. I agree that Matt Smith and James Corden have great chemistry on screen, I actually think playing Craig is one of the best things James Corden has done in his career. The episode is very cheesy and yeah the special effects are questionable lol but this for me is what Doctor Who does best. They don't have a massive budget but episodes like this have so much heart and just make me smile. And it really does do a great job of bringing the story from the start of the season back around to set up the finale. I love that The Doctor gets the blue envelopes and the stetson from Craig. I look forward to the season finale next time. 😊

So apart from a couple of cameos in the Pandorica opens and a good man goes to war, this is the first episode to feature the original Cybermen from the classic series. Prior to Pandorica all the appearances were from the alternative universe that Rose is stuck in. Which is why the reveal that it was a ship stuck underground for centuries was better than a new ship in the earths outer atmosphere. Nice reaction, sad that you are approaching the end of the series because it means a break from reactions, but excited to see what you think of them.
