I'm so happy you enjoyed my request, such a brilliant movie. I've rewatched it every year since it came out, it's become one of my favourite Christmas movies. Jennifer Coolidge truly is a treasure lol, such a funny woman. Cracks me up. And what I really love about this movie is it's just like any other cheesy cliché romcom but with two men instead of a man and a woman. And that's how things should be. The family acts like it's all totally normal, which of course it is. There's no sadness, or dealing with homophobia or struggling with their identities or anything like that. And I mean of course those stories are important to tell too, but LGBT+ people are happy sometimes lol and we need more totally happy LGBT+ content. So I actually think this movie is some of the best representation I've seen in a long time. I also think the lead guys have fantastic chemistry, you really can see it from the start. And there's no point in the movie where you feel bored or like it's dragging along. It's just so well done. I could go on and on about it lol, but yeah I'm SO glad you enjoyed it. 😊💕 (Oh and the singer guy is called Dan Finnerty and that is his actual voice. He's part of a musical comedy group according to Google)
