So, fun story. For me at least. Everyone else probably couldn't care less... But anyway! I first watched Heroes YEARS ago. I was really young, it was probably around 10ish years ago so I was about 11ish. I recently decided I really wanted to rewatch it because clips were showing up on Youtube and it just kinda made me really wanna rewatch. So I did. Now, I barely remembered anything about it. I remembered most of the characters powers and names and that was about it. (And little plot points throughout the show, nothing big just little moments...) But that last scene of this episode, Peter's vision. That was one that I just remembered so vividly. I didn't quite remember him exploding or anything, but I vividly remembered this moment of it being silent, kinda grey, and Peter being alone in NY all confused, and then all the characters just being there and looking at him like they were and trying to get away and all that. It was the first moment that while watching the show I TRULY remembered. (Other than Peter and Claire jumping off stuff in the first episode...) It all just kinda came back to me as I was watching it. It was such a weird moment for me... There were a few other moments throughout the show where that happened, with characters and just moments. (There's a moment from like S4 that even before we started rewatching it, I remembered it so well. It was a really insignificant moment really, but I remembered it...) But I just finished it a few days ago... Speaking of that scene though. Such a well done scene! Everything about it is just perfect. And the reveal that it's Peter who apparently explodes. Poor guy can not catch a break tbh... I love the scene where Matt and Peter are just reading each others minds and getting headaches. While Peter's power is obviously really cool, it must be so scary to just be hanging out and suddenly you've got a new power... Like, everyone else just has to go through this once, he has to go through it every time he meets someone with a power... The Haitian telling Claire about wiping people's memories and saying that he's done it to her Mother many times in the past. That ALWAYS makes me so uncomfortable. Sandra is honestly one of the characters I feel the worst for in this show just because of that. I mean, we saw what it did to Matt to have his memory messed with just that once, we saw how freaked out Lyle was because he couldn't remember how he got home. Imagine having that done to you MULTIPLE times... And by your husband! It is so messed up. And poor Claire. She's just been totally isolated here... She had two people who knew about her powers. She had someone who was truly a friend to her. And her Dad messed with their memories and made them forget, including making her only real friend forget they were ever even friends. That is so unfair...
