Niki and Jessica this episode is so heartbreaking. Like, if you know anything about DID then you kinda already have to suspect that there was abuse in Niki's childhood, but it's still so sad to actually see it confirmed. And Jessica being the one to take all the hits so Niki didn't have to. It was most likely Jessica's death that actually caused the split, and Jessica would obviously then come out whenever their Dad was drunk. It's so sad. And the fact that he killed her. Ugh. I hate abusers. With the accident, Nathan didn't just leave Heidi, it was the first time he'd ever flown. You can see it by his reaction, he was screaming her name but couldn't get back to her. He didn't know how to control it. I would assume that's a big part of why he's so defensive about his power and why he hates it so much, because it first came out at the worst possible time. Hiro and Charlie is just heartbreaking.
