Yeah, Rhys and Taika have crazy good chemistry here as Stede and Edward (they're using Blackbeard's real name, Edward Teach, here)! This episode just goes to show that the legend behind the man has grown so large that he doesn't even have to try anymore as most just give up without a fight. We also see that Edward is just a real, human guy. Devious? Sure, but with real-life problems. Anyways, when I first watched this, I was not expecting it to go in this direction, so I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was just going to be some silly show (which, it is, but with some actual storyline and characterization behind it)
