This is my favorite episode of season 5. Well one of many. Jensen said this was the hardest episode for him to do. Because he was acting opposite of himself for 8 days and it was challenging. And he said that Jared was on set maybe 5 minutes in his white suit and blew everything he did to that point out of the water. Or in his words “this mother fucker shows up for 5 minutes and blows everything I did out of the water.” This was an amazing episode. You get a couple episodes in season 5 that’s so funny you’re gonna love it. I can’t wait for those episodes 🤣

Ben Edlund is such a GREAT writer. So many comic gems in this one. Not just the one liners,but Jensen is SO Good with comedy. Just a quick facial expression makes me laugh. Love the gunners playing rock on their tanks. Such an homage to Vietnam & “Apocalypse Now” Brilliant choice of music!!! This episode definitely one of the tops in my hit parade. One of the creepiest things about rewatching season 5 years later is that so many things that are "signs of the apocalypse" in the show are things we've recently lived through. Viruses, civil unrest, wars, extreme weather, supply shortages (Hoard toilet paper. Hoard it.), etc.

Great reaction, Travis! 😊 This is such a fantastic episode. Both Jensen's and Jared's performances were phenomenal. And your reaction to Hippie Cass...did not disappoint. I knew that you would love that version of Cass. LOL! Really good timing for this reaction. Jared and Jensen just did a SPN convention panel yesterday, and Jared mentioned that if he could've he would've taken that white Lucifer suit as a souvenir. He loved that suit. I’m pretty sure I can quote that entire scene between Dean and Lucifer from memory. One of my favorite scenes of the show. Dean and Cas are absolutely hilarious, so I’m not surprised you’re enjoying the humor more.
