Yup, a 7-day war! So, this one is more of a character-building episode for the Doctor. We find out that he had a family before. We also get to see more wonderful acting from David Tenant, showing a myriad of emotions. Normally, I have serious issues with fake-out deaths, but I don't have as much of an issue with this one (I still have some issues with it, though). For one thing, we know Jenny is a time lord (a generated one, but still one), so we know she can regenerate. Also, our trio doesn't know that she's still alive. Not the best episode, but still fun

So fun fact, Georgia Moffat, who played Jenny, is the daughter in real life of the actor who played the fifth doctor, Peter Davison. After filming this episode, she and David Tennant ended up getting married! They have a bunch of kids and seem super happy and adorable.

I came here to say they were married in real life and have kids, it's so cool ☺️

Travis Manning

They played father and daughter and then got married ? Imma skip remembering the first part lol

I think it was less father/daughter as a relationship and more hey, a member of my species who I can hang with and train to be amazing and who won't live a comparatively short life and leave me (ahem, humans); but I definitely feel you! lol.

Yeah I would have liked to see an episode or part of one where we see what Jenny got up to after

2023-07-01 02:19:15 I agree with you, this episode isn't great and is definitely a bit of a filler episode. If this story had led somewhere I might feel differently but it doesn't. We never see Jenny again, she's never even mentioned again. So that makes this episode a bit pointless really. But I do like the Hath, they're sweet. It was nice to have a bonus story with Martha. It was great to see Donna working out the numbers, she really is smart but she doesn't realize it. And there were some funny moments in there too. Plus David's acting was SO good. 👌 Oh and I'll never stop wondering why The Doctor was carrying a toy mouse around in his pocket lol. 😂😂 I always love how this show's message is about no violence and no killing. And also that bad things happening to you doesn't mean that you give up. That's why this show has helped so many people, it's help me when I've been low. It's like The Doctor said "there's always something worth living for." 💕 The next episode is another one I don't love but it has some good moments. After that though is a two part story and that one actually is important for the future of the show. So I'll be interested to see what you think. 😊

She also went to school with Colin Barker's daughter. I think it was. She joked saying she thought everyone's father was a doctor. Harry who played Dudley in Harry Potter is the grandson of Patrick Troughton
