Uhhh my God as gorgeous as amber heard is she's is so annoying to look at.

Gracie

Not as annoying as Johnny Depp's rotting nazi face

Angelina Sargent

Haha yeah I mean Johnny wasn't completely innocent but he didn't lie everytime he spoke. Both of them seem to be abusive.

Gracie

I recommend doing more research. If you do more than just watch short clips on tiktok, it becomes pretty clear that this was a smear campaign and he has a history of violence and misogyny. "Mutual abuse" is not real. There is an abuser and a victim, regardless of whether they fight back.

Angelina Sargent

Haha I don't have tik tok. It's kind of outside of my generation but mutual abuse is absolutely a thing. I watched the entire trial twice and I think it was pretty clear that they both are 100% toxic. But Amber was caught lying consistently through out the entire trial. There is a reason Johnny won and the public supported that win. You must get your information from like Fox news or something cause abuse can be black and white but it's not always just a victim and an abuser. A true victim you claim she is wouldn't antagonize their abuser like she did if she was actually afraid for her life as consistently as she said she was. Amber heard is a fame whore who had just as much power over their relationship as he did. Yeah Johnny said some terrible things to her and I believe he got violent with her during the times she wasn't actively trying to catch him do it but I heard those (multiple) recordings a dozen times where she was the aggressor and he tried to cool off and walk away and she wouldn't let him and he still didn't beat her down like she likes to insinuate that he did. All the evidence says alot more than whatever "fake" news article your trying to state as facts. I would like to see the link to the article you claim says that mutual abuse isn't a thing. Cause fact checking is also a thing.

Johnny Depp got support, because he is more famous. There is a reason the UK trial ruled that he is a "wife beater". Their licensed marriage therapist testified that she responded to his abuse. Johnny Depp was being arrested for assault when she was a toddler. He collects Nazi memorabilia with his bestie Marilyn Manson (other known abuser), has assaulted exes, producers, security guards, and has a history of and continues to date women half his age (even a minor) to assert his power. https://www.thehotline.org/resources/mutual-abuse-its-not-real/ https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/national-feminist-organizations-break-silence-amber-heard-open-letter-rcna56629 https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/06/02/depp-heard-verdict-is-gag-order-women/

You think an article on CHARLOTTE PROUDMAN stating her opinion on whether or not mutual abuse is a thing or not means it's not even considered a real thing??? You do realize she's a lawyer right? I believe she was called a feminazi or something when she came out with her opinion(not fact) on this case... Your 2nd link is in regards to a national feminist organization... who has an agenda on which I agree with because victims need to be able to say their peace with out backlash or fear...but Amber heard lying on the stand every time she opened her mouth set victims back so hard that it was actually insulting. And the hotline link contradicts itself... there is more than one kind of abuse. They can say all they want about self defense and reactionary abuse but when the supposed abuser often tries to remove themselves from hostile situations and their partner won't allow them to leave so they can "have their talks" or agitate them into a confrontation while they are secretly recording them HOPING to get that extreme reaction that doesn't end up coming. It is so funny to me that amber heard tried so many times to get Depp to react aggressively on tape only to have him leave the confrontation the bigger person, even while she's hitting him and cussing him out and not letting him leave the room or the house they are in. She is not solely a victim in that relationship. And neither is he. Mutual abuse is absolutely considered a real thing, when I was in law enforcement they actually trained us for exact situations like that when called into domestic disputes because it was our job to find out who the main aggressor was and have that person removed from the premises whether it was getting them a hotel or finding them a place to stay to cool off. It is NOT as common as a legitimate victim but when we did see it the woman(except for the 2 males i saw) was usually very manipulative and their stories never matched what we were seeing. The countless victims I met had a tendency to take the blame for the fights and was often afraid to be away from their abuser and very loving toward the other, I saw it with men too. This article states what we had to deal with when the abused antagonizes the abuser and tries to bait them into a fight to show proof of abuse it's usually a huge red flag for any investigators when you see the claimed abuser fighting all the urges only to refrain from taking the bait to any extreme point to make it stop. And if you can't understand that some people are that sick then there is no point in having this conversation any further. https://www.domesticshelters.org/articles/identifying-abuse/is-mutual-abuse-real

Not loving the discussion about the amber hesrd Johnny Depp trial here. Every single one of you sounds ridiculous 😂. Let’s focus on Travis and the actual episode. Love your work Travis and loving these criminal minds reactions.

Dr. Reid looked a lot more comfortable kissing that babe than I thought he would 😏

If I'd been in Gideon's shoes, I would've gtfo'd right then and there too! He saw some campus patrol kid fiddling with a necklace and knew he was thinking about breaking up with his gf. I can't imagine wtf he saw in that artist.

I’m late to the party here but I have a love/hate relationship with this episode I think. Aside from the whole Amber Heard thing which I don’t wanna get into, I just find Lila annoying as a character. She’s just SO uncooperative especially as a victim. I get the whole “I won’t let the stalker stop me living my life” thing (as a stalking victim myself, believe me I get it) but like have a shred of common sense and take SOME precautions at least. I absolutely love the Reid-centric episodes though (he has been and always will be one of my favourite characters in CM) and I think MGG did so well in this episode, especially because he was super nervous for this episode because this was his first ever on-screen kiss in his acting career.

I really do like Reid, he knows so much but at the same time has an innocence about it. The actor used to be a model before moving into an acting career.
