You and I literally clapped at the same time when Martha reappeared 🤣🤣🤣. I knew it was gonna happen, but I just couldn't help myself! I remember seeing 2 Marthas for the first time and going "Yasss!" ;) So many funny little moments in this one: "He looks like a potato. Like a baked potato. A talking baked potato?" "That's so cool!" "Is the temperature significant?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I also love me some "sassy Donna" 🤣🤣🤣. Martha's still my favorite companion though :)

Such a great two parter this one. It's so nice to see Martha back, she's amazing. The Sontarans are much like the Daleks and the Cybermen and The Master, reoccurring villains who started out on Classic Who in the 60s/70s/80s. Same as UNIT as well, you'll see a lot more of them as the show continues. They've always been a big part of The Doctor's story. To answer your question, "daps" are another word for rubber-soled shoes. Like the Converse shoes The Doctor wears. You're learning so many British words from this show lol. 😂 The humour in season 4 is the best it's been so far, there have been great jokes in the seasons you've seen but in this season it's definitely stepped up. And that continues into season 5 and beyond. Something that Doctor Who has always done so well is getting the perfect balance between humour and serious moments. Another thing Doctor Who has always done well is bringing real world issues into the show. Climate change, the dangers of technology and the issues with the military are all part of this story. Doctor Who has never shyed away from the difficult topics and from making people feel uncomfortable about what's happening in the real world. And I love that. ATMOS is something that could actually happen one day and people hacking smart vehicles to murder people is also a very real possibility. 😬 I look forward to seeing what you think of part two of this story. 🙂
