I'm so excited to see you starting Private Practice! We went from your grey's watch alongs on YouTube as they were posted, to finally making a patreon account this past week to watch all the full reactions because I'm impatient and your recations are great! It's so fun to watch with somebody who seemingly SO enjoys the show. I watched PP for the first time a few months ago, and felt it was a little slow to start, but once you have a vibe with the characters, it's one of the best spin off shows I've seen! And in recent times Addison returns to Grey's periodically, but it has more of an impact if you've seen her growth and experiences in PP. There's also a big character in the spin off that becomes main cast for Grey's, and her storyline is so much more intense after getting the backstory through Private Practice! I'm glad you're starting to watch before she joins the show 😊

Also it starts at Seattle Grace because PP aired immediately following Grey's on one night of the week. There's quite a few episodes that you *can* watch stand alone, but they'll bring patients between facilities for big 2 part episodes on occasion as well to draw out the story. There are lists for how those episodes line up online though! The Grey's episode is always the first watch due to airing order :)

hell yes so excited to watch this with you! this just reminded me how much i love all these characters, honestly pp starts a bit slow but it's so fantastic there's some really special later seasons (plus a main character from later in this show becomes main cast on greys later on). not my favorite patient storylines in episode one, though the lady that violet helped in the store it makes you think how much differently that could've ended if they just let the police take her away like they wanted to. sooo excited to watch the rest of this season with you !! also i love cooper 🥺

I can't wait to start watching this! Just a friendly reminder, Private Practice can be watched and enjoyed separately from Grey's Anatomy, but there are a few crossovers in later seasons, so if you keep watching this, please mind the crossover episodes, so that you won't get confused.
