Yup! A 3-part finale! I love when we see Captain Jack! I also love that he basically flirts with practically everyone and how much it annoys the Doctor 🤣🤣🤣. This episode was so suspenseful, especially towards the end. I won't say anymore so that you don't get spoiled :)

It was so fun watching this with you. Such a fantastic episode and it leads to even better. Also there's some deception in this episode, you'll see what I mean by that. 👀 It really was great to get Captain Jack back, he's such a fantastic character and definitely hot lol. The writers describe him as omnisexual, which basically means he'll flirt with and sleep with pretty much any attractive person from any species lol. So you were spot on there. 😂 And I'm so sad that they killed Chantho because I really liked her. She was so sweet and kind. She deserved better. 💔 As for The Master, he was a MASSIVE part of the classic Doctor Who series back in the 60s and 70s. He was best friends with The Doctor when they were young, there are even many hints that they might have dated. But then The Master basically went mad and the drums in his head are part of that, you'll get more explanation in the next episode. And The Master and The Doctor then became arch enemies, The Master has basically dedicated his life to destroying The Doctor. So they have a lot of history. And the actor for The Master after he regenerated is John Simm, he's been in loads of things over the years including Mad Dogs, Life On Mars, The Canterbury Tales and many others. So I wouldn't be surprised if you've seen him pop up somewhere before. I can't wait to watch the next couple of episodes with you. 😊

I've been waiting for you to get to these episodes! I can't wait to see your reaction to the next 2 aswell! The Master is so good, absolutly love John Simm, I first saw him in Life on Mars back when that first came out so he's always been Sam Tyler to me but then I remember seeing this for the first time and he became The Master and I was so excited! Captain Jack is always a great face to see return, we love him and I can agree when you're saying how good looking he is expect I mainly think that about The Doctor himself (David Tennant) lmao! Excited for the next 2 now!!

The Master in classic who was basically the Master of Disguise. Every time the new version of the master would appear it would be a reveal to the Doctor and the audience partway through the story, so it was amazing to see them continue this tradition in NuWho. The first actor you saw here, playing the professor, is the legend of acting Derek Jacobi. One of the old school gay British acting royalty, along with Ian McKellen. It's such a shame he only got to play this small part before regenerating, but he did do some prequel work in the Big Finish audio stories. Can't wait for the next 2!
