Travis is so confused 🤣🤣🤣! Yeah, Dan stepped up there at the end of the episode. Gotta give him credit for that! I always thought it was interesting seeing the contrasting journeys of Lucas and Nathan in this episode. They're heading in opposite directions and I love the character development of Nathan, but I'm obviously not a fan in the direction that Lucas was going in. Shows like this definitely like to stomp on your heart at inopportune times in the characters' lives. Your reactions to this show are legendary :)

I think it was so interesting how Lucas and Nathan went in opposite directions the first season. I think it’s because Nathan distancing himself from his dad is letting him evolve and live up to his potential whereas Lucas finally basically having everything he always wanted makes him make dumb choices.

Yeah, having distance from Dan can only be a good thing. On the other hand, Lucas being distanced from his mom, in addition to all his recent success going to his head a bit, seems to have had the opposite effect on him. I have to continue to remind myself that these characters are teenagers because their actors (minus James) are all so much older than their characters 🤣🤣🤣

This episode was my introduction to this show lol I was hooked after this! Nathan and Haley🥰 I absolutely loved them in this episode. Don’t quote me but I think James(Nathan) was 17 or 18 and Bethany Joy(Haley) was 22 or 23 but I’m almost positive James was the youngest of the cast. They are adorable! With Lucas and Peyton, they both are messing up for sure, but Peyton has said so many times that she doesn’t want to hurt Brooke and says she can’t do this but Lucas keeps coming back to her and like yes Peyton needs to tell Brooke but either way they both suck for this because Brooke is my favorite and she deserves the world lol and Dan at the end!! I was shocked when he said Lucas was his son, still sucks but he did a good thing for once lol I’m so glad you are enjoying the show😊 Such a great episode and reaction!

Dan was extra narcissistic this episode with him and Keith’s conversation. My grandma is a narcissistic abuser and I’m her care taker and that’s some of the things she says, like how everything everyone does is obviously out to get them they think. And that weird analogy about how Dan leaving Lucas was comparable to a man cutting off his arm from being stuck under a thousand pound rock lol like what?!
