So, the spread/condiment that most Australians (and Brits) use on their bread is something called marmite. I've never tried it myself, but I hear it can definitely be an acquired taste. Apparently, they only use a thin spread of marmite because it has an incredibly strong taste. Yeah, these deep dives into a particular character are what got me into the show. And, I think you're right Travis. Kate definitely enjoyed that kiss a lot more than she's letting on ;) Sun-Hwa using the eucalyptus to ease Shannon's labored breathing was a nice touch. Koreans (especially old-school Koreans) tend to look for natural, herbal remedies for their maladies.

If your loving the format of the backstories just gear up. Most of the first season is going to show these characters and how they came to be. Your going to start to love and hate certain characters

Yeah, that's what I hear about marmite. I think I'll continue to avoid it for now 🤣

I can’t wait for you to get further…when the back stories really start to pop off

I love this episode, Sawyer is such a complex character. I love the hints for the big reveal in the end, in the last flashback when he sees the kid we think he's just thinking of the last kid he hurt but in reality when he saw that kid he was picturing himself. Sawyer is a tragic character, because of what he has become he hates himself and wants to be hated but you still see there could be a good person in there somewhere, at least to me when he reveals he doesn't have the book he looks disappointed, like he wished he had it and would like to help her out but can't. I love Charlie and Claire, they are so cute and the imaginary peanut butter was so creative and sweet, one of my favorite moments for sure. And this episode also introduced us to more backstory for Sayid, we learn he has a sad history of doing what he did Sawyer, when Sawyer tells him he doesn't think he's ever tortured anyone and Sayid gave that very hard stare, like you know he has, he technically didn't even have to say "unfortunately for us both your wrong" because that look said it all, but I still love the line, it's rather chilling I'd say. I'm so glad your enjoying it and can't wait for more!! I just want to binge it with you, lol.

When I visited Australia, my aussie partner and I were in a hotel continental breakfast and overheard someone at the table next to use say "don't spread it like an American, put some actual mite on that bread!" I laughed because as an American that's tried mite, we aren't even putting the thinnest of layers of that stuff on our food. Oof. It was so gross. Lol

Asthma attacks for sure aren't all in the head but many times they CAN be helped through body posture and conscious breathing techniques.
