yup this episode starts a looot of storylines!! and the actress who plays Karen was veeery pregnant at that time so while Karen was in Italy Moira Kelly was on maternity leave.

You really seemed to like the song during Nathan and Haley's kiss(es). It's from a group called Switchfoot (still together, I believe). Song is 'Dare You to Move'. So 'roofies' are actually the drug Rohypnol and is primarily used to treat severe insomnia or as an aid for anesthesia. So, it's basically a light anesthetic. It's often slipped into alcohol since it dissolves quickly in the liquid and the combination of alcohol and Rohypnol makes a powerful anesthetic, which is why the victims of 'roofies' are too weak to fight off their abusers. By the way, Rohypnol also makes an appearance in Kingsman: The Secret Service during the scene when the final 3 candidates for the open position are trying to seduce the same girl. Rohypnol was put into their drinks, which Eggsy noticed (he just didn't know that he noticed it). Anyways, nasty stuff 'roofies,' but, by themselves, relatively harmless (unless used in large quantities). Now the really nasty stuff is fentanyl, which is like a hundred times stronger than morphine (fentanyl is the stuff that TK in 911 Lonestar thought about taking when he found out about his mom :( ). Anyways, enough of the medical talk, back to the show. Yeah, that guy sucked! Sad thing is, if he tried, he could have had some success with Peyton (or is it spelled Payton?), but no, he had to be a dick! Yeah, Nathan and Brooke (but especially Brooke) made up for their previous mistakes in this episode (even if Nathan's mistake took place earlier in this same episode)

i need to comment on that last scene with nathan leaving the bros to go run up to haley. he could have kissed her then, but i think he knew that's not what haley would have wanted, to just be kissed in front of everyone. it'd be too much "marking his territory" in that way. but this? the little hair tuck behind her ear? it was just enough to say "this is my girl" in such a soft, subtle way, without it coming across as possessive. to me, that one little gesture speaks volumes of nathan's growth and the continual growth he's capable of.

I get serious a walk to remember vibes from this episode when it comes to Nathan and Haley. Hahaha it maybe the song and the dinner and the fact that she told him he shouldn't have kissed her... BUT the vibe is strong here

My face hurts from smiling at your flurry of exited thoughts at the end 😆 I definitely feel the Brooke and Lucas vibes. I think the very first time I watched this show I wanted Peyton and Lucas to be together and didn't like them introducing Brooke as a potential obstacle but on rewatches I really love Brooke and their chemistry. Brooke is definitely flawed as we saw last episode but she's got a heart of gold. And she's so damn🔥 I am very excited for you to see Deb's character arc on this show 🙃 And lastly- I love how fired up you get about gross dudes being disgusting pervy dbags cause yeah, let's have less of that 🤗✌️

YES! I love it! It's not even just about it not coming off as possessive, it's also not making a big show out of it. Haley was upset earlier about him not letting his friends know they were on a date because she didn't wanna be some secret. But she also wouldn't wanna be known as some girl that he's sleeping with and making out with all the time. They both know that no matter what, people are probably gonna talk because of his history and it's High School. But by not taking that chance to kiss her in front of everyone, Nathan showed that he's not going to play into any of that. He's not going to do anything to jeopardise her reputation. If that makes sense? He's not gonna put on some big show of kissing her in front of all his friends who would likely make a big thing of it. It shows a sense of growth and maturity. :)

Ahh, yes. 10k lira. Unfortunately, that's not going to buy squat for Karen - Italy had the Euro in 2003, lol. As for Lucas and the two girls - he's such a turd in the way that he treats the two of them in the coming episodes that I honestly just can't with him for a while. The chemistry is real though, the vibes are def. there.

Love this. Excited to see how you enjoy the show as we go along! It started airing when I was only 9 but my mom watched the show and I came in her room and saw Brooke on the screen and I was in love with her so I begged my mom to let me watch the show and for my 11th birthday she bought me season 1 on dvd and then for season 2 it was when Netflix didn’t have streaming- they were a DVD rental company and for series you were only allowed to request 2 discs of a show at a time, watch and then send them back in the mail and wait for the next two discs😂😂😂

I’m team Brucas but I understand team Leyton makes more sense logically since he’s obviously liked her for so long, so I don’t hate on team leyton anymore haha as a kid watching the show I did hate on leyton lol

I love how much you have fallen in love with these characters!!(mins Dan lol)Moira Kelly who plays Karen was pregnant at the time of filming for this so that's why she had to leave for a bit. If you go back and watch I bet you would notice all the shots of her were upward shots, they hid her stomach behind stuff or they put her in really baggy clothes.
