hahahaa yeah this whole episode is just PAIN! :(( But so important for tk's character development... but i'm still so mad they killed gwyn, she was such a great character :( can't wait for more, thanks for reacting to this show, i love it so much!

So, I was thinking along the same lines as you were the first time I watched this. I was, this has to be a dream! And then we hear the 911 call. By the way, whoever played that caller for the 911 call at the beginning, bravo! He was so good! You can feel the tension and unease of the situation so clearly! I wonder what experiences he had to use to pull that performance out? So, the way they used shaky cam in this episode is generally the way I like it utilized. I hate when the camera shakes too much, or if shakes throughout the entire episode/movie. I mean, just why? But the way they used it here was just enough to get your blood pumping. During this watch-through with you, you and I broke down at different times. I broke down at the beginning with the 911 call, and you broke down towards the end (trust me, my first time with this episode, I was a wreck the entire time). Every time you think the situation can't get worse, this show is like 'are you sure about that?' Of course, they always think of some way to handle the situation in the end

I felt that exasperated look to the camera at the end there, Travis! I'm sorry this one hurts so much but man, it is so good. I agree the plane having an issue was bonkers for them to have to go through but I really loved how they transitioned between TK's past and present experiences getting on a plane for a difficult journey, and that landing scene with that song - UGH - just amazing. The music on this show really is so affecting. I'm thinking back to Owen pulling TK out from giving the woman CPR underwater in the bus in 1x10 while 'Unsteady' plays, 'Fever' in that intense (and sexy) Tarlos house fire scene in 2x12, and of course whatever music was playing in 3x4 with Grace giving birth/TK waking up from the coma. So much goodness! There's a lot to come in S3 still and I am PUMPED for you to see it 😝
