My music & pop culture nerd ass has already said this somewhere lol, but it's Alexandra Patsavas, who originated the musical cue strategy initially on The O.C. (my all time fav show, yes over grey's cuz reasons lol). She's amazing & down to earth and the entire reason teen shows use popular music. It's genius writing to make it such a significant tone setter, almost its own character, but also a great ad cash grab for producers & of course exposure platform for popular & upcoming artists. Bands on TV shows? The O.C. (via Alexandra Patsavas) started that. /nerd rant over :)

Love this! Do you also love the music from one tree hill and or the vampire diaries? Very curious to hear your thoughts! as those were my favs along with the OC and I especially love them all for their music! Then I got into greys when I was in college, but grew up with the rest of them. ❤️

Denny looked hot as fuck at the end of this ep standing next to Izzy and walking down the hallway back to heaven lol 😂 I always think how he’s married to our girl from one tree hill and that makes my heart so damn happy lol

I dont like the obscenely excessive effort put in to saving Meredith's life in ths episode. They dont go to a fraction of the length for anyone else! Makes you think if they even did a quarter as much with everyone else, how many more people would they be able to save? And Izzie, do i even need to say it? She is a bi*** and way overstepping the bounds of disrespect to Callie and her marriage to George!
