This reminds me of a very upscale version of She's All That. That ending gave me chills y'all! I don't blame Simon one bit. Nigel is deplorable, but it makes more sense why he is the way he is when we see how he was raised, being doted on and endlessly praised by his mother for being mediocre (not unlike the mother-son relationship between Petunia and Dudley in Harry Potter, lol)! I'm a little surprised that Nigel was put in his place so early on in the season, but I'm sure they have more twists and turns in this show. Lady Danbury is fierce!

It’s called Bridgerton because it’s based on the book series of the same name. There are 8 books and each book is about one of the kids. So this is Daphne’s story. Now between this and Grey’s, your posts make me so happy! ❤️

I have to say that Simon has turned into a respectable Duke despite his early years of being brought up by a narcissistic and egotistical piece of shit. I credit it to the influence of Lady Danbury. I wasn't sure what to think of her in the first episode, but I love how fierce and determined she is. It's no wonder that she holds the position that she does in the ton. Also, I am loving the contemporary music done in the classical style. It just keeps getting better as the series goes on. I remember on my first watch of this show that the music seemed to be familiar and it took a minute to figure it out, but then I started to recognize the songs and then started looking forward to what was coming next as much as I was looking forward to what was coming the storyline. I feel like it adds an extra element to the show that sets it apart from other period pieces. Loving going on this journey again and with you Travis! Thank you for this
