Yay! I was going to suggest this movie in the future, but Heidi did it first! So, yes, that is Thor and Emma Swan before they became Thor and Emma Swan. Also, the mouthy doctor, and besties with this version of Kirk, is Karl Urban who played Eomer in Lord of the Rings The Two Towers and Return of the King. Actually, the captain that was killed just before Chris Hemsworth's character became captain was in Iron Man as the leader of the terrorist group the Ten Rings that kidnapped Tony at the beginning of the movie at the behest of Obadiah Stane. So, this movie is part of the new Trek trilogy that is a lot more action-packed than the original (I don't know this personally as I have not seen any other Star Trek movies/shows except for this trilogy). As far as I know, there is no talks for a fourth movie (the third movie in this trilogy came out in 2016, so it's been a while). Fun fact: Vulcans (Spock is half-Vulcan) and Romulans (Nero) are 3 times stronger than humans, which is why Kirk gets his ass kicked a lot in this movie, lol. I will likely request more in this trilogy in the future (unless Heidi does it first, lol)

This was an origin story of sorts for what all previous shows dealt with. Now if someone could get Travis started with "Star Wars"...
