As the notification popped up I was so excited I thought I might have a heart attack lol and yeah, this may be my longest comment here by far, as I have a couple things to say. First of all, V Hudge is so hot... Secondly, it's such a shame that Andrew Garfield wasn't appreciated more after this performance. He did such a good job, including learning how to sing especially for the movie, as well as learning how to play piano, 'cause I believe he also did play it. If I remember correctly, he won 1 gold globe and 1 satellite award. In my opinion, after putting such emotion and soul into his performance, he kinda resurrected Jonathan Larson on-screen. I think he reallly deserved an oscar for doing justice to the memory of John Larson. Moreover, the movie brought up a subject that's really been buggin' those times, that is 80s, 90s. HIV and AIDS have been a nightmare to many people and their families (i.e. the history of the late Freddie Mercury). It is truly tragic that for people to do something in this world, a disaster has to happen, just like Jonathan Larson wrote in his song. The 'Sunday' scene in the diner was iconic. There were so many cameos...that indeed was Lin-Manuel Miranda back in the kitchen, as you noticed. One of many guests was, for example, Brian Stokes Mitchell (the one saying "that's why you're just a waiter"), who performed in such plays as 'The Man of La Mancha' or even played one of Rachel's dads in 'Glee'. The two ladies with drinks played the Schuyler sisters in 'Hamilton' and a lot more people to mention. Last but not least, I love that you got to see 'Tick, tick...Boom!' eventually. I, personally, think it was too good piece of cinematography to pass on. Loved your reaction and your speech at the end...I really connected with that and that kinda made me feel like my heart was crumbling even more lol. Anyway, thank you so freaking much for this reaction and see ya in the next ones. Peace, brothers and sisters of Teatimers.

I was the one who requested you watch the performance of "Sunday in the Park with George" at the Tony Awards. I didn't know you were reacting to this film so I'm glad I was able to provided some context when the musical came up in the film. The common thread is they're both musicals about creating art and what you sacrifice to achieve fulfillment and creativity.

Beautiful reaction.

Oh, Travis. This was beautiful. Thank you. The only thing I want to mention because it’s so sweet is you can actually see Julie (Jonathan’s sister) in the end Louder than Words scene! She’s sitting in the front row with a blue scarf. She has the nicest things to say about Andrew depicting her brothers life story. I thought that was a beautiful little detail 🫶🏻 thank you again Travis!

It is so sad that he didn't get to see "Rent," the work he is most well-known for (I'm sure that changed somewhat after this movie came out)! What he went through is very relatable, even though none of us have written well-known musicals lol. We've all been in that place where we're so locked in on ourselves that we fail to see what's going on with our friends and family. We've all been in that place where we're so tired of being overlooked. We've all been in that place where it doesn't seem worth it to do what we love anymore. Either way, I'm glad he had such good friends (I don't know how true to life this movie is, but this is all I have to go on) that he could lean on. I'm glad he stuck with it. I found out that the message from Steven Sondheim at the end of the movie was actually from the real Steven Sondheim! Anyways, I'm glad my first time watching this movie was with you Travis! I'll have to watch this one again on my own

Like you, I had put off watching this until now. Everything you said resonated with me, Love your emotionally unfettered responses in all your reactions. It keeps this experience real.

Rent was also one of those ones that really helped formulate and shape me as a young individual. I owe a lot to this guy.
