Welcome to season 4! 😊 This is one of my all-time favorite seasons. I'm so glad that Dean being in Hell, and him getting out wasn't dragging on for several episodes. He was back within the first few minutes of this season premiere episode. And you finally get to meet the person, more like the Angel responsible for saving Dean. The Angel Castiel or Cas for short. Cas is one of my favorite characters on this show. And we get the return of Ruby. Fun Fact: The new actress that plays Ruby is Jared Padalecki's(Sam's) wife in real life. They met and fell in love while filming this season. She's credited as Genevieve Cortese during this season. She now goes by Genevieve Padalecki. She and Jared got married in 2010. 😊 And yes, Misha Collins(Cas) is in an episode of "Charmed".

This is probably my favorite season of the whole show, tied with 5. I love Cas so much. This is my favorite season premiere of all 15 seasons. I’m glad you finally met Cas 😂💙👀

I have a few bts facts that have to do with this episode that seem to be generally known in the fandom. 1, I’m pretty sure that the dirt Dean crawls up and out of at his grave are just crushed Oreo cookies, and 2, whenever you see holy water on this show, it’s actually lube…

I think when Dean tells Sam he doesn't remember anything about hell he is lying. He just doesn't want to burden him with his memories. He doesn't want to burden anyone. That's what the scene in the bathroom is about. He is being haunted by those memories. Those flashes of hell that we see.
