I'm pretty sure there is only one crossroads demon. You were right the actress wasn't the same person as the last ones. The demon gets summoned and just borrows the first hottest body they can find for the conversation. It's always been the one demon and different bodies everytime. So now that the demon is "gone" there's no calling that specific crossroads demon anymore.

There is more than one crossroads demon. I don't want to say too much because of spoilers. But there is definitely more than one.

Haha huh... I always thought that every crossroads had a specific demon it would summon. I thought there was a bunch of different ones each with their own crossroad. So are you saying that any crossroad demon could be summoned at each crossroad? I thought it was kind of like everyone has their own street corner type situation. Like the one at crossroad blues was always the same demon and once you kill that demon it's not considered a crossroad anymore. :/ I guess I don't really remember how that rule was in the series.

Crossroads Demon is one of the “jobs” in hell. BTW This allows them to travel/ go to earth. Not all demons have that ability. One of the best SPN demons - who shall remain nameless for now-no spoilers -started as a Crossroad’s demon.

Haha I think I know who you are speaking of CJ. And you are very right. I just assumed each crossroad demon was working their own 4 way street.
