I love this show sm. I highly relate to Diego and Vanya, and especially Klaus. The soundtrack to the show is amazing. The show is based on a comic by the lead singer of My Chemical Romance, but they changed a few things for the show. I’m glad you like it so far. There’s only 3 seasons out right now, with a 4th and final one coming at some point (I’m not sure when).

i can always tell when a show is filmed in Canada, because I'll see some Canadian actors in some scenes (like the lady in the donut shop) I've seen on lesser seen Canadian TV lol

Love this show so much, I cant believe you have never seen it!! I love Klaus and Five. Aidan Gallagher who plays Five is such an amazing actor. Its so hard to believe he was only 14 when they filmed this first season.

I was thinking about that. If I'm referring to the character while I react I'm assuming she/her pronouns are correct because he's playing a female character and the other characters refer to her as such...? Idk !

Vanya is female so she/her pronouns are correct when refering to the character. If you are uploading to Youtube maybe put a little edit in that explains that you are refering to the character and not the actor when using she/her pronouns. I think most people would realise this but there is always someone who will make nasty comments...

A lot of shows (like Smallville) are filmed mainly in Canada for this very reason, Travis. Unfortunately, not every show can have the budget of the Rings of Power (LOTR) or the MCU Disney + shows. If a show has a relatively small budget, they're likely going to film in Canada

I was coming to comment that Gerard Way wrote the comic in which this show is based on but I see that some other fans already commented that! That was my main motivator to watch this show but I fell so in love with it by what it is on it’s own! My favorite character is by far Number Five. I was kind of worried that you’d find the show “too weird” but I think you will enjoy the journey! Can’t wait to rewatch with you!

Complex is putting it lightly when it comes to these characters! My favorite characters are definitely Five and Klaus (#4). The order of their numbers has big significance, so pay attention to that. I know you've made it to episode 7, but I don't remember when things were revealed since I've only seen this show once, so I won't reveal the significance of their numbers yet. This is a wild show and it seems like you've been enjoying it. I won't say it's a favorite of mine, but I enjoyed the first 2 seasons very much (haven't seen the 3rd season yet, but will watch it during this winter break). The family dynamics in this show are interesting, to say the least. I'll leave it at that for now
