All the Athena and Hen scenes just draw me in so much - what 2 amazing powerhouse women - characters and actresses! And I'm with you on the animal stuff - that horse scene hurt me worse than anything else so far 😭

Aisha is a great actress! Getting me all up in my feels! I've always thought that Athena would make a great detective! I mean, she did their job for them in this episode, lol. I love how supportive Bobby is of Athena and her kids! That situation with Eddie and his wife is tough (the first time I watched this, my jaw dropped when he said he was still married). Carla is great. This show just has amazing actors and actresses. I mean, even the woman who played the dead hiker's girlfriend absolutely killed it in this episode! If this show was just WTF moments, I wouldn't've kept going with this show. But, this show is so much more than that. The emotions, the focus on found family, and the character development these characters go through makes it a top notch show for me!

This was a really sad one. The way Bobby puts his hand on hens back to let her know he got her, and he'd rakes the needle is so damn good. He is such a papa bear to them all, andd Athena is mama bear

I don’t know if anyone gave you the answer as to why Connie left, but she was always going to leave at the end of S1. Connie Britton said that after Nashville she hasn’t wanted to sign on to a multi-season show. She only did this as a favor to Ryan Murphy.

yeah this one makes me cry every time. I love the theme and how it was woven through all the different stories. you picked up on it really well, I like the respect you have for the show.

Even though I will admit I cry watching this episode every single time, I love this episode… the horse call is so sad, and the fact that the owner talks to him the whole time makes it even more emotional than it was. And Hen having to make that decision for her dad… overall this is probably one of the more emotional episodes…

There's a great AU fanfic where 118 is a production company. Maddie and Buck are mediums. I wouldn't read this unless you watched a lot as it does have some characters not yet appeared. The reason this reminds me is because Buck has a conversation with the dead hiker. If you love Maddie and Chimney its not for you. I love the fic myself oh and its Buddie of course.
