Now you must watch the new series on AMC. It's outstanding. I was a little skeptical at first, but they proved me wrong with the very first episode. :)

This movie came out in 1994, so Kirsten Dunst would have been around 11/12 when they were shooting the movie. Yeah, this is an interesting movie for sure. I think I was in my early 20s when I first watched it, so it's been a while. Haven't seen that new series on AMC yet, so I might check it out. Honestly, I didn't even know about it until Marcus mentioned it

Yes!! I admit, I was a bit skeptical at first but I was proven wrong in the very first episode. I've been a life-long fan of the book series and I have been waiting years and years for a proper adaptation. There have been some big changes from the book, but they only enhance the story. The basic and most important story elements are all sill there. I would say at least watch the first episode. If you're not hooked by the end, that probably won't change.
