So I took a break from your 911 reactions to catch up on the show (I'm so impatient lol) and it's nice to come back to season 2, especially with the introductions to Maddie and Eddie! You're far enough into the show now that you've seen that Athena and Bobby are serious (and yes, they are very cute together). I think it's hilarious that J. Love Hewitt's introduction to the show was getting an accidental show from her baby brother 🤣🤣🤣. I definitely relate to the Chimney storyline in this episode as I am also Korean, and, thus, didn't have any Korean stars/heroes to look up to here in the States. I absolutely love Chimney's relationship with Hen, and you definitely called it with Buck and Eddie!

Re: Concrete Microwave and "people doing some stupid shit but I know it's a TV show", no, some morons *actually* did this, got stuck and began having breathing issues, and had to call EMS & fire, and yet still uploaded it to youtube, 8 months before this episode aired. There was no pool involved (guess the writers didn't think it was dramatic enough), but I'm pretty sure this rescue was inspired by that real life scenario.

A ton of the situations in the first season were definitely inspired by real events too, and the compressor incident in this one was probably based on the guy in India whose colleagues “for a prank” stuck the compressor hose up his backside, rupturing his intestines and killing him horribly

When I went to look that up, I didn't know what to think. I'm truly flabbergasted at just how many stories there are of that very scenario happening in India. It makes me question the legitimacy of the reports; a 16, 19 and 24 year old, all in the last few years??

Something similar has happened with Jet Skis. The stream of water has caused major issues vaginally and rectally. It's caused deaths. 1000 ways to die type shit.

Idk if you recognized the runaway groom, but that was the same actor who plays Tim (the paramedic) on 9-1-1 lone star. This was, I believe, 2 years before lone star started.
