This is still one of my favorite episodes they have ever done. Looking forward to watching your reaction to it when I get back home later.

Denni Caid

I have to praise the casting director for finding the absolute PERFECT young Kurt. Kid looks so much like Chris Colfer it is stunning.

Jenny Lee Villanueva

Im in glee rocky horror thinking I skipped episodes haha and now realizing you dropped 3 episodes 🤦🏿‍♀️🤪

I cringed so hard at the beginning of this episode the first time I watched it...then the rest of the episode happened! This is the episode that made me fall in love with Kurt's voice. Plus, how can you go wrong with 2 Mercedes solo performances!

Annie Willow

I grew up with very contradictory teachings about Christianity and religion as a whole between my parents, grandparents, and my best friend and her family so I really understand where they were all coming from in this episode. I’ve been through the whole spectrum, all the way from the cult I was born into to the atheist I am now but I will ALWAYS respect everyone else’s beliefs and I will NEVER try to push my own onto anyone else. I really love the way they approached religion in this episode, even the grilled cheesus because it added some humor to a very heavy subject.

One of my favorite episodes in the series!

They made a ton of grilled cheesuses and Cory really ate one of the two week old sandwiches for the final scene.

Helen Moore

this whole episode just makes me cry the whole way through. Literally start to finish

people always talk about who the best singer is on Glee, but I feel like Chris Colfer's (Kurt) acting is some of the best on the show. Episodes like this remind me how deft he is at connecting with both the character and the audience in a real, tangible way. What an episode, man. I'm not religious, and I feel like atheism was at times framed in this episode as being cynical or wrong, but then they tied it up with Kurt saying what's sacred to him is his relationship with his father, and it melted my heart. Also: Finn, you never once asked grilled cheesus to help Burt wake up? Even after Puck said that's what he's been praying for? Come on, man

TimeLord10

Finn was selfish in this episode, using grilled cheesus' powers only for himself. Burt's in the hospital, and Finn is wishing for boobs. I mean, really.

This episode hits me hard. I cry so much. I had a grandfather who died of a heart attack—just knowing how Kurt was feeling at that moment. The anxiety and helplessness. Also, did anybody else see the irony in Puck singing Only the Good Die Young?

TimeLord10

I understand Kurt's point of view entirely when it comes to religion. As someone in the community, I can say that most churches don't like us or want to save us from ourselves. I get people all the time telling me that their church has a great conversion therapy group. What's the point of keeping the faith if everyone is telling you that you are going to hell for something that you can't change?
