Well Travis you did it. This is wildly considered the worst episode of supernatural in existence. So the fact you liked it shows how much you will enjoy the rest of the series

My only huge complaint is that it’s only midnight when they show up at the house and all the sudden they made it through the night lol.

This season one episode is famous for being one of the most hated out of the 300-plus episodes of Supernatural. The issue with "Bugs" is that one, people don't like bugs much and two, the episode really wasn't scary. Then you add in the issue of an Indian burial ground, which is a touchy subject these days, and you have an episode that really didn't age well. Not only that but Sam and Dean don't actually manage to "defeat" anything in this episode. All they do is wait out the storm when the bugs come to attack. There isn't much closure. Copied from IMDb. It’s the second lowest rated episode and the only one that is lower is an episode that doesn’t have Sam and dean in. It was an episode that was supposed to set up a spin-off of supernatural that never got picked up

Dont take this the wrong way John, but this makes my question how much of this "the worst episode" is actually the episodes fault and how much is the fault of people talink it down in a plethera of comments like a heavy rain of negativity xD

They used real bees and vacuumed them up after every take. The bee wrangler told the boys they’d remain docile if weren’t threatened😂😂. Both of them had to be tested for sting reactions and they both got stung several times. Irony is that bees didn’t show up on camera and they used cg in final product. Not my favorite episode, but not as bad as many fans say.

Running joke- Everywhere they go people assume they’re gay. Later eps. they just play into it. Or Dean does and sets Sam up. I didn’t remember them ever doing a coin flip. As series moves on, rock-paper-scissors becomes a running joke- Spoiler alert- Dean always loses. 😞

Sorry, I cannot watch this one with you. I can't do it. I watched it once and everytime I go through the series again I always skip it. I usually don't care that much about bugs but as Spaceydoodle said, "are they on me?? I feel like they're on me!!!!" But I am so glad you are on Supernatural. I am about to start my 5th time around on the series after I finish the last 3 episodes of season 15 for the second time. Lol.

The brother scenes are so good. Worth a rewatch. However, everything else I watched through my fingers or shut my eyes 😟

Yeah I know the boys enough to be ok with missing this one. The bugs just destroy me.

There are no episodes of supernatural that I don't like, but this one is the bottom of my list. I don't like bugs on a good day, but this one makes me a bit paranoid when I watch it.
