Just a warning with One Piece: the pace really starts to slow down once you get into the 400s and 500s due to the anime catching up to the manga. It gets really obvious once you get to certain arcs. Once you get that far, it might be better to switch to the manga, or keep doing the anime and read the manga on the side to make better sense of things. The reason the anime caught up to the manga so quickly is due to the anime being released weekly, all-year round. In an ideal situation, an anime episode should encompass about 2-5 chapters of a manga depending on how much dialogue is in those chapters. As of right now, the anime has around 1,014 episodes and the manga has just over 1,050 chapters, which is almost a 1:1 ratio, which is not good for the pacing of the anime. For some people, this isn't an issue, but if pacing is a big issue for you, I just wanted to give you a heads up. One Piece is my favorite anime/manga, but I definitely had to switch to the manga after a while for a couple reasons (I caught up and the pacing)
