This is a fantastic episode, and a great wrap up of the Dark Swan arc. A subtle detail that most people seem to miss but adds a lot is the changes to Excalibur / the Dark 1 Dagger this episode. When Merlin created it (and up until now), Excalibur, and subsequently the fragment & the dagger, was silver metal with black accents and writing. When Hook uses the reformed Excalibur to absorb the darkness from all the other dark ones, the blade inverts, turning to black metal with silver accents and writing (though it's a little tough to see if you're not looking for it, due to the the red halo effect in that scene). Subsequently, Rumple's new dagger is also black with silver writing/accents. A fantastic detail to symbolize it containing the darkness of all the past dark ones! Also, as you acknowledged at the end, the soundtrack is utterly fantastic. Series composer Mark Isham actually released a medley of some of the best 5A songs (The Dark Swan, Emma turning Hook, the Camelot theme, and of course the Underworld theme from the end): https://soundcloud.com/markisham/ouat-season-5a-suite
