Hello hello,

This week I wrote and recorded a short story I call Go, Pass, or Concede. I think it might amuse you, for while you definitely can’t put it into the category of horror or suspense, maybe it will somehow scrape the dark, and darkly funny, corners of your imagination. The tale is certainly kind of a nightmarish one if you ask me. Give a listen if you have 12 minutes to burn as you sit in Jiffy Lube this weekend wondering how they’re going to try to screw you over this time.

If you happen to be online Saturday night at 10:00 Eastern, pop into twitch.tv/pizzatate where Andrew Tate, host of the “Let’s Not Meet” podcast, will play some videos of various podcasty narrators, including myself, reading creepypastas from the internet. (Yes, I’m sitting in my closet in my video.) I’m fascinated by the possibilities of these Twitch shows, and want one of my own. Would you like to watch me sample various types of breakfast cereal for two hours each week while I complain about people I went to junior high school with? Blink once for yes, twice for no.

And if you happen to be in Colorado Springs next month (that’s right, I said Colorado Springs!) and you’d like to hear the Chilliam Witch story from ‘A Quick Decalogue of Terror’ told live, check out what Counterweight Theater is planning: an interactive performance featuring three characters I created some time ago for various pieces of fiction. Looks like fun (even if possibly chilly), wish I could be there for it!

FINALLY, A CRITICAL RECAP: Our final poll question from a couple of weeks ago seems to have more or less reached statistical resolution. Death by catapult courtesy of a rural pagan cult is the LEAST desired demise of the four that were offered. I expect that at any moment, Amazon or Google will offer me big bucks for this seemingly meaningless piece of statistical data so they can market to you more effectively. How I do love America!

Yeah but I bet you were just a boy showing off or a kindling creator experimenting with questions and answers

Oh, and any special reason for the postcards addressed in green ink?
