Loved it! Apartment buildings are odd, living so close to strangers and there's almost always a murder history in big complexes. When you go someplace you lived before it is like a waking dream. Great ending too.

Apartments.com needs to include every building's murder story right alongside the cost of the rent and whether or not there's a washer/dryer. Why would I want to move into a place where NO one's ever been murdered, or at least demonically possessed?

This might be one of your best works to date. At least it's one of my favorite, the subversion of the expected ending by having the protagonist rightfully nope out of there only to have time soften memory of how bad it was and draw him back in. Relatable, grounded protagonist who is undone by nostalgia. Love it!
