Howdy,

I’m always glad to help out a little with some vocal work for podcasters, and it’s good to see the Patreonks getting into the game. Recently I was able to do a narration for Jelle Havermans (the artist responsible for the cover of “Town With a Tranquil Name”) as he kicked off his spooky podcast A Darker Tale with a nasty story of revenge. Matt Fradd has begun the Sibling Horror podcast with his sister, and he let me narrate his first story—about an odd next door neighbor and his freaky unexpected visitors—with others to come. Seng Phengdouangdeth also let me sneak into his show Whispers in the Night as an introductory voice, while over at Sessions X, Matt Macedo has had me read a couple of tales in the past. And who doesn’t stay up night after night listening to my magical sixty-second cameo as Guy Running Bar in Void Samoyed’s Rust Belt Gothic podcast? It could be that I’ve somehow forgotten some other audio pop-ups I’ve been involved in; life moves fast and my memory is a disaster zone. The moral is, why don’t you have your own podcast yet? Huh? Why?

Meanwhile, thanks to the inspired illustrations that artist David Montano created after listening to the audio novella “Loft” over at my other fiction archive, I’ve gone ahead and published the story in paperback form complete with his snazzy art throughout. It’s a good short read for those who love… sentimental speculative sport fiction, I guess? Is that a genre? No? It’s not? But mannerpunk is?

Which episodes of Sessions X?

Timothy Bills

“Gifters” That’s a good one. Nice dynamic to the basis for the story and creating sympathy for the villain due to the justice being tremendous overkill
