Howdy from rainy Virginia!

Other Knifepoint Horror listeners have been much busier with these stories than I’ve been recently. A couple of filmmakers have each produced short adaptations of ‘staircase’: Tony Rivas’ black-and-white film is called “The Thing from the Hallway” and Guillermo de la Rosa’s is entitled “A Noise That Carries.” Both are being offered to festivals at the moment, so there’s no public link yet to the full flicks, but you can watch a fun little trailer for “A Noise That Carries” at https://vimeo.com/366649302.

Meanwhile, artist Mark Penman and a host of writers and illustrators surprised me by combining on a graphic novel bringing to life eight Knifepoint Horror tales. It will be available soon, and as soon as it is, I’ll do a giveaway for several copies and also let you know where the book can be purchased. Let me know in the Comments field if you'd like to be entered to win a free copy. Below is some teaser art.

These kinds of efforts make me so glad that anyone, anywhere can feel free to adapt the stories as they wish without having to pay a dime or listen to my dumb ideas about how it should be done!

Oh. Weeks later I see there were pics from the graphic novel below the videos. D'oh. You're probably sick of that word from your Simpsons marathon. The graphic short story looked like fun, but I wish they'd drawn the protagonist to look like you. Speaking of which, this thread is so last month no one will ever read this comment. Oh well. Hi, Void.
