Hello, fine Patreongers! An update here from Falls Church, Virginia.

Well, I finally stopped just riding my bike up and down the street and have been doing some scribbling. On Amazon you’ll now find a short suspense novel I wrote called Town With a Tranquil Name. An abridged audio version of it will likely be the next project to crawl hungrily into your ears; that should be coming toward the end of August. It’s different in that we have some third-person action going on, but I find it thoroughly creepy.

Another couple of straight-up Knifepoint Horror stories are coming along well, so I don’t foresee too much of a dry spell through the rest of 2019. 

Another project that is very much intriguing me at the moment is a gigantic piece of cake waiting for me on the kitchen counter. I mean, the sucker is HUGE. I can see it from where I’m sitting, in fact.

You’d like to hear more about the cake, wouldn’t you.

In fact, maybe you’d like to hear more about the cake than about the novel I wrote just for you.

It’s a dark chocolate cake. With dark chocolate frosting. My mother made it. Within that frosting, there are small marshmallows that melted into it through the ambient heat of the oven after it was turned off.
