Last week I was facing a 19-hour train ride on Amtrak, so I thought I'd pass some of that time by trying to resurrect the fun of making a zero-budget movie on the fly: No script per se, no extraneous equipment, just winging it and hoping something might click in the editing. Here's the result of that little experiment.

Who is the main character? I think that's none other than Forsch Cording, whom you might remember from the podcast story called "town." Back in 2005 he came to the quaint little burg of Robin Song to spend one ghastly day searching for its many mysteries. But wait ... does this mean he did make it out of Robin Song alive? It appears so, moving ever onward in tortured pursuit of ... well, I don't even want to think about it.

Nice! What brought you out this way?

That’s the best area for it. If yer ever in a car instead of the train, a couple suggestions for great mental escape: visit Stoningon and Stonington Village, drive route 156 (Old Lyme to New London), Harkness Memorial Park and Beach in Waterford, and drive Route 146 (Guilford to Branford). Those are some of my old standbys for that area, great for mental escape!
