Happy Sunday, Everyone!

Or this might be your Monday. Whichever, I hope you are having a wonderful time. 😊

We are releasing a small update to Private Practice that will be part of the September Quarterly Release to the Public due to its size in changes. I wanted to ensure it has run through some testing before releasing it out to everyone since there are still some code changes. I'm sure a lot of people are going to like this update, and I want to give a big shoutout to Nathan for this update. One notable thing is a new cheat that will give you the best of both worlds as well as manage illness within your game better. We hope you like this small update. Feel free to drop feedback on our Discord as you work through this update.

Please see below the changes made.

Summary of Changes

We added/changed the following:

  • NEW CHEATS - DISEASE FIGHTING SIMS: You can now enable or disable a setting on an Active Sim or NPC Sim to make them wipe out illnesses that other Sims experience based on contact/proximity. The Herd Immunity experience is about to get a lot more easier to manage.
  • NEW WORLDS - NEW ALLERGIES: With the addition of San Sequoia and Chestnut Ridge, we've added some additional allergies to these new worlds to explore. I mean, exploring new territories should be filled with sneezing. Am I right? Of course, you can also disable allergies within the Sim's debug menu as well.
  • NEW ALLERGY CATEGORY - GRASS: You can hank Chestnut Ridge for this one with its' Prairie Grass. We got to match realistic expectations by having it, ya know.
  • NEW NOTIFICATION: Ever wondered if Linda overcame that Stomach Bug? She was forever showing progress, and then something just reverted her back? Well, now you will get a little notification to let you know the illness has passed. Keep in mind that there is a chance some lingering effects might be present or show up, but that should be all you see once that notification appears.

Hi - thank you for the update! I haven't noticed a difference yet, but no doubt will at some point. It occurs to me, if a very overweight Sim goes for a health check-up, might it be an idea if the doctor has a word with them about it? PP does flag up when a Sim is overweight, but if, for example, their fat slider is over say 85% perhaps the doctor should advise losing a bit of weight? Just a thought. Not bullying of course.

HI can i use the Adeep indigo mod with this one as well

Lilith

Hi you can use Adeep Indigos mod in addition to this I love private practice because it gives more illnesses and the ability to drop clinics into lots instead of taking us to one that doesn't show on the map. I also use the health care mod for adeep indigo Hope this helps :)

Hi I enjoy all of your mods! On the Private Practice; however, it seems sims are constantly getting sick. Is there any way to tone this down a bit or perhaps customize it some way per a player's household?
