Short Story

The sun have been beating down on the island, the heat was unbearable, you were glad you came to the island off season, there were hardly any tourists on the island. You had been exploring the island for days, meeting new people, trying new food, and learning about the local culture. It was trully a very fun vacation, and since you are off season, there is less crowd, which you prefer.

You have heard a lot about the Shark Shrine, which is located deep in the mountain. Your friend has been telling you about it, especially how the Shrine Maiden was a real beauty, with a flirty personality. You couldn't help but be curious, and since you were the only tourist on the island, it was the perfect time to visit.

The mountain road was not too bad, the trek was not too steep, and there was even a car path, you are not sure why they put a car path way up here, but you guess they do get some cars coming up here for the view. It takes you a whole morning to hike up the mountain and find the Shrine. You are surprised that it was not as busy as you thought it would be, it was kind of an eerie feeling, but it was also the off season, so you understands how it was.

You peeked through the gate of the Shrine, seeing the tranquil garden, with various water fountains decorating the area. You make your way inside, walking around quietly, observing your surroundings. You saw a glimpse of the Miko, you could see her back. The Miko was a tall woman, with smooth skin, she had long dark hair, what strikes you as interesting was that she had gills on her neck, leading you to realized she must have a part shark. And another curious fact, she is wearing very revealing clothes, as if it was a bikini, but at the same time it is obviously a shrine maiden outfit, with all the ropes, hair decoration, bowtie, and all the stuff.

The shrine maiden turned to look at you, you froze for a second, stunned by how beautiful she was. Her features were sharp, she had a pair of yellow glowing eyes, her eyelash was incredible long, almost like tentacles. Her lips were a dark red, and you swore you saw a pointy fangs. On top of her hair was two points, leading you to assumed that she was a shark hybrid.

The Miko smiled, "Visitors.. it is a nice surprise," she giggled.

You were speechless, not knowing how to respond.

"You came at the pretty much wrong time, we didn't have any rituals for now" the miko continued, "well, who am I to complained, business has been too slow anyway" she stepped forward, walking towards you.

The fact that there were no visitor makes the interaction between her and you the only event happening right now. You nodded, "Yeah, I think everyone on the island basically back to the city to avoid the heat" you answer

"So it is just you and me huh?" Maru leaned closer, until her face was close enough to yours. "Being stuck alone with a miko.. it seems like a nightmare right?" Maru asked you sultrily, smiling and showing her shark teeths.

"N-No, I am fine with it.." you answered nervously, wondering what the miko meant by that.

Maru smirked, putting her hand on your waist. You let out a gasp, shocked at the boldness of the Miko. Maru leaned closer to your ears and whispered, "I don't know how to say this, but I have a bit of a crush on tourists." Maru looked at you, with such seductive eyes.

You let out a gasp as Maru licked your ear gently. You gulped and stuttered, not knowing what to do.
