This week, we're nearing the end of the 100 character sketches. Only 9 more to go after this. And with the weather turning cold and somber, I figured on the theme of myths and snow.

Flavor text as follows: 

1: It is said that the first snow of the season is the great lady's wedding train. She appears once every year, still walking the aisle to a wedding that never happened.

2: The drop in temperature came first. Then a sound and a rumbling. The entire ice sheet quaked until it split open, and out it came. In less than a minute, it was gone. Far too fast for any daguerreotype to catch.

3: You look for strange shadows. You listen for silence. If you wait to see the hawk, it's already too late.

4: "Oh hey, you done wit that job over Nutley? Some kid's reporting another half dozen on the fritz over Poughkeepsie."

5: They would be safe. That was enough.
