(high res in the drop box)

I haven't drawn this character in forever and I totally miss her.

I admit I've been in a bit of a pinup mood as of late. I've taken to exaggerating features, and no I don't just mean the breasts. Generally speaking I think I've taken another subtle twist into even more cartoonish looks. I'm trying to cut down on excessive lines and details on every curve and instead simplifying them into longer single lines. I also take some of that and put it into the shading.

Speaking of the shading here, there's was a conscious effort to bring a bit more vividness to the colors by utilizing the same colors for shadows across different parts of her figure. There's a lot more intentional sharp contrasts between light and dark. I wish there was a bit more texture to this piece but I added some of that here and there.

As for the pose, there's a lot here that says I didn't think a lot about how I was gonna draw her. I just started sketching with the face and went from there. But this method leaves me hanging when it comes to adding more body parts to the image. I just never had a plan in the beginning! It's starting to show how limited some of these things can get when you don't figure it out early.

Pinups are great! As long as you're intending to draw pinups anyway.

when shading I generally try to use the same color as well, or at least as a base, for example I will shade white with blue or skin tones with red.'

What's the logo/glyph on the front of her shirt? This is beautiful BTW.
