Sorry it's not an April O'neil pic to start the month with. April fools! It was a bit of a busy week on the webcomic side of things so I cooled down with something a little self indulgent. I've been enjoying the Animaniacs reboot, and in particular I like the new fictional ceo of Warner Bros. Nora Rita Norita. She basically looks like a Colette if Colette were evil. And I'm pretty okay with that.

On the art side of things, two things I wanna note with this piece. One, the pencil I used for the lineart is a little different than what I usually use. It's just a modified version that has more varied line weights and darker lines. Two, in the sketch you can see I had a spot for her right hand to be holding a cellphone. I think that's actually a better composition. But natural and attractive looking hands still give me trouble and this was only meant to be a quick piece for fun. I decided about a couple hours into the drawing that I had to nix the cellphone cause it wasn't looking very good at all. And a bad element like that would end up too distracting from the rest of the drawing.
