I've probably mentioned the new coloring process, and how it's a bunch of fun. I'm not totally sure how to explain it to a layman without some knowledge of the program, but I'll try. Basically I'll do a lot of the work in black and white. I'll mark out the area I want to color in black. But on another layer, I'll add in the light parts of the image where light is shining on the object.

I can then, lock the transparent pixels on the light layer so anything I paint after that will only affect where the light is hitting the object essentially. This in effect means I can add colors to the lights, and the shadow, pretty quickly without really messing up how I want the shadows modeled.

There are other ways to do it, but this one is quick and pretty easy to do. I hope it helps me out in the long run.
